All The Things That Snoring People can't Do

In extreme cases, snoring can be caused by a serious medical condition, or can cause serious medical problems like heart attack or stroke, because of lack of oxygen. But, in most cases, snoring is a matter of tolerance and coping. Tolerance and coping of other people, though. But, since we are social creatures, snoring can make the life of a snorer pretty difficult and complicated. Let's see some of the things people who snore cannot do:

1. Sleep in peace, unless they live alone.
A snoring person will be prodded, poked, pushed and kicked until he finally wakes, which will effectively put a stop to his snoring.

2. Go camping.
Camping anywhere around wildlife might create some unexpected problems, like a visit by a female buffalo looking for that snorting male she did not know about. Or the snorer can be banned from a camp by unanimous decision of the whole population and forced to sleep in a hammock on the tallest tree.

3. Go to a fancy hotel.
Unless the hotel has been built in the 14th century and has 3 feet thick walls, normal hotel walls will make it impossible for other guests to get the restful sleep their dollars paid for.
Work on a submarine. One snoring sailor can make a whole ship full of people go nuts. In a fragile submarine environment, the solutions are fairly limited, since it is impossible to throw the offending person out. A snorer should voluntarily stay away from such problematic service.

4. Work on a space ship.
The same applies for this type of employment, or any employment where the work place and habitation are closely linked.

5. Go on a safari.
Safaris are an option only if they are short and the guest goes back to the hotel to sleep. Sleeping of a snorer in a savanna in a tent might cause a stampede of wild elephants.
Invite kids' friends to a pajama party. Visiting kids might report to their parents that there was a dangerous beast living in the guest room of the house.

6. Stay in a common room in a hospital.
It has been reported that other sick people adversely react to someone keeping them awake the whole night, in spite of all available medication. Some of them turned to violence, in spite of all the wires strapped to them.

7. Stay married.
The reports are coming out that more and more psychiatrists are admitting that there is a link between snoring and an increased number of failed marriages, particularly in older couples.
